I’m so excited to share that one of my images placed 5th in the Wedding Still Life category at the 5th Edition of the Canadian Wedding Photography Awards (CWPA) — a national competition celebrating the artistry and emotion behind Canada’s best wedding photographers.

This particular photograph was captured at a Calgary wedding at The Ridge Okotoks, one of Southern Alberta’s most breathtaking wedding venues. The image highlights what I love most about wedding storytelling — the quiet beauty in the details. The rings, the bouquet, the textures, the light — all the subtle, in-between elements that often carry the most emotion.
A heartfelt thank-you to the CWPA judges, my fellow photographers, and most of all, to the incredible couples who trust me to capture their love stories with honesty, artistry, and soul.
As a photographer whose work is rooted in authentic connection, intentional storytelling, and a cinematic-inspired aesthetic, this award is a reminder that every part of the wedding day — even the still moments — deserve artistry and attention.
