I recently had the pleasure of capturing the final wedding of my season at the charming Laurel Packing House in the beautiful Okanagan. It was truly an amazing experience, made even more delightful by the lovely couple I had the privilege of photographing.
The Laurel Packing House is a perfect venue for a vintage-inspired wedding. Its historical charm and rustic atmosphere provided the ideal backdrop for this couple’s special day. As a photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a better setting to unleash my creative vision.
From the moment I entered the venue, I knew I was in for a treat. The bride and groom had put so much thought and effort into every little detail, ensuring that their wedding exuded a unique vintage boho vibe. The carefully chosen decor elements, such as antique furniture, pampas, and rust coloured decor, transported everyone.
Throughout the day, I found myself inspired by the couple’s evident love for each other and their commitment to creating a wedding that was true to their unique vision. Their attention to detail and their desire to infuse every aspect of their day with a vintage flair truly paid off.
As a photographer, it brings me immense joy to be able to capture the most special moments in people’s lives. This final wedding of my season at the Laurel Packing House in Kelowna reminded me once again why I am so passionate about what I do. Witnessing the love between this lovely couple and creating photographs that will preserve their memories for a lifetime is the ultimate reward.
I am incredibly grateful to have been a part of this magical day. It is through experiences like these that I continue to grow as a photographer and find inspiration that will fuel my creativity for seasons to come.
